Ten3 was formed by its three Principals, Andie Steele-Smith, Joseph Jayaraj and Fergus Herbert to assist early and growth stage companies maximize and realize the potential that entrepreneurs can often see - but can’t quite ‘grasp’.
Having led the successful growth and exit strategies of many early and growth stage businesses as advisor, principal, director and investor, the three founders saw the need for a venture fund that brings together smart capital, hands-on commercialization support, board level leadership and experienced ‘opportunity management’ to enable their portfolio companies achieve otherwise seemingly impossible goals.
We know from experience that entrepreneurs usually spend far too much of their time raising the capital to build their businesses while leaving too little time to fully realize its potential.
The Ten3 team has a great track record in the areas of:
- Commercialization, funding and exit of successful start-ups;
- Turnarounds and black-book workouts;
- Investment banking, global capital markets, venture capital, fund management and private equity; and
- Board representation in public, private and not-for-profit enterprises throughout North America, Europe and the UK, Asia-Pacific and Africa.
We use these experiences to bring a solid balance of corporate familiarity, investment understanding and an entrepreneurial approach to our portfolio companies.
